MagSafe Phone Grip: One Accessory Instead of Three?

The brand sent me this MagSafe phone grip. This post contains affiliate links, and I may earn a commission if you purchase through them. My opinions are my own.

A separate grip, a separate stand, and a separate MagSafe mount each solve one problem — and each is one more thing stuck to the back of your phone, competing for the same small footprint.

If you’re juggling multiple separate accessories on your phone, this is worth it. The tradeoff is that it only works with MagSafe-compatible phones and cases.

What I Noticed

The brand sent this to me, and I looked it over on camera — the finger loop, the dual hinge that folds between grip and stand positions, and the magnetic attachment to a MagSafe case. It slides off for wireless charging and snaps back. I haven’t carried it daily for months, so I can’t speak to how the hinge holds up over repeated folding.

What Makes This MagSafe Grip Different

  • Adjustable elastic strap — more comfortable than traditional metal finger rings
  • Strong magnetic attachment — snaps onto compatible MagSafe phones/cases, and even metal surfaces
  • Dual hinge design — multiple viewing angles for video calls or hands-free viewing
  • Slides off easily for wireless charging, then snaps right back
The catch is MagSafe compatibility — this is built specifically around Apple’s magnetic system. That’s not a problem if your phone and case support it. But it’s a reason to skip this entirely if your setup isn’t MagSafe-compatible.

Setup Questions

Does this work without a MagSafe case?
It’s designed for MagSafe-compatible phones and cases specifically — check that your setup supports MagSafe before buying.

Can I still wireless charge with this attached?
Yes — it slides off easily for charging and snaps right back into place afterward.

What else helps with things I regularly misplace? If keys or a wallet go missing as often as your phone, I also reviewed a no-app RF key finder that solves the same problem for smaller items.
